7.5" tall. c. 1810. Listed in Arman, plate M.7-M.8. Transfer w/portrait of the fourth President framed by oak leaf border interspersed w/fifteen states and "James Madison President Of The United States Of America" in banner above. Rev. 12 line patriotic verse references Columbia, Maddison(sic) and Republicans with portrait, doves and wreath border. A 13 star federal eagle and "E Pluribus Unum" is featured under the spout. Restoration throughout w/touch ups to top section of oval transfer and stars in American seal. Displays VF. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
