Displaying VF. Almost one year after Woodstock, this festival was promoted as a Canadian version of the fabled US festival- note the slogan "3 Days Of Love Sun & Sound." The lineup featured a litany of important bands of the era including Jethro Tull, Sly & the Family Stone, Procol Harum, Mountain, Ten Years After, Eric Burdon & War, Leonard Cohen, Grand Funk Railroad and Delaney, Bonnie & Friends. Though Led Zeppelin is listed they did not ultimately play the gig.
