2.25" w/union bug at 6 o'clock. Produced for Obama's 1996 bid for the IL State Senate, his first foray into electoral politics. He won the election, where he served from 1997-2004, before becoming a U.S. Senator in 2005. Smooth and glossy w/only minor wear. NM. A rare early-career pin for the 44th President.
