Item Description
9x12.5" painted original art on heavy paper. Art is for the 1951 Sandpiper children's book "Rob Whitlock, A Pioneer Boy In Old Ohio." Art credited to Cornelius Witt in book. Nice image of title character w/coonskin cap and his dog Sal on a hunt. Art paper was glued to heavier sheet on back that has a painted river scene that was not used and is now detached. Lt. aging/trace wear. Exc. Comes w/11x14" mat and reading copy of the book this art was produced for.
