1.5x2.25" card from the second of three annual issues during the Puerto Rican League winter seasons, these cards are similar to the previous year's set. 216 cards in the set. Glossy bw photo front w/text on back in red which serves as a "Play" designation for use as a card game.
Lorenzo "Piper" Davis (1917 - 1997) was an American professional baseball player who played in the Negro American League from 1942 to 1950 for the Birmingham Black Barons. His nickname was the name of the mining town he was from. Three time Negro American League pennant.
