Item Description
1.5 x 2-5/8". The 1914 Piedmont Art Stamps baseball set bears a striking resemblance to the 1911 T205 Gold Border tobacco set and printed on an extremely flimsy paper stock. The backs indicate "100 Designs", but more than 110 players exist and a number of players are pictured in two different poses numbering the set to 118. The obvious difference between the Piedmont Art Stamp set and the T205 issuance other than the paper stock is the perforations at the edges of each card.

Eros Bolivar "Cy" Barger (1885 - 1964) was an American right-handed starting pitcher and left-handed batter who played in the American League for the New York Highlanders (1906-07); in the National League with the Brooklyn teams Superbas (1910) and Dodgers (1911-12), and for the Pittsburgh Rebels (1914-15) in the Federal League.
