Item Description
2x3.25". The 1921-23 National Caramel (E220) baseball set consists of 121 cards issued between 1921 and 1923. Each unnumbered card features a black-and-white player likeness within a white border on the card front. The player's full name, team name, position, and league also appear within the image area. The National Caramel baseball set is generally considered scarce and difficult to complete.


Walter John "Butch" Henline (1894 - 1957) was an American catcher and umpire in Major League Baseball who played from 1921 to 1931 for the New York Giants, Brooklyn Robins, Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago White Sox. He spent most of his career with the Phillies, batting .316 as a rookie in 1922 and .324 in 1923 before his playing time gradually decreased.
