Item Description
2x3.25". The 1921-22 W575-1 "strip cards" set consists of 196 hand-cut cards. The set is nearly identical to the 1922 (E121) American Caramel with blank backs. The W575-1 set features a black-and-white portrait or action shot of the player, along with their name, position and team at the bottom.


William Benton Piercy (1896 - 1951), born in El Monte, California, was a pitcher for the New York Yankees (1917 and 1921), Boston Red Sox (1922-24) and Chicago Cubs (1926). Piercy helped the Yankees win the 1921 American League pennant.
