Item Description
3x4". The 1931 W517 baseball set consists of 54 cards. Each player' photograph is centered within a thick border with the player either posed or in portrait style. The player's name, team and league appear on each, as does the card number. As was the case with many of the strip cards of the time, the W517 are blank-backed.
Hack played for the Cubs 1926-31. A 4x NL home run leader and 2x NL RBI leader. MLB record 191 RBI in a single season. Wilson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979.
