Item Description
8.5x9" die-cut thin cardboard box has nice art image on front with Superman flying in mid-air looking at art image of Krypton rocket. Lid is designed to punch out at top and stand up and all perforations have splits. Box has moderate aging/wear. 2" piece out at right edge. Scattered creasing. 2" edge tear at lower edge. Small surface paper pull at upper left from price sticker. Displays Good. ©1956 National Comics Publications, Inc. made by Parks Plastic Company. Die-cut insert consists of three hard plastic pieces, each about 5" long. Includes reserve fuel tank, pump unit, rocket. Tail fins of blue rocket have relief "S" emblem and Superman logo plus name "Krypton Rocket". Toy uses water as fuel and "Operates on a Real Jet Propulsion Principle". Underside of box has illustrated instructions and offer for extra rockets. Insert has lt. aging/wear. Fine. Contents have lt. aging/wear. VF. Danny Fuchs Collection.
