Item Description
1.75" no maker name with NYC union bug on curl. Issued by the  Congress of Racial Equality which was co-founded by Jame Farmer Jr. in 1942. He initiated Freedom Rides in 1961 and in 1964 targeted the opening of the NYWF by shuttung down the Long Island Expressway. This button picturing the fair's symbolic Unisphere stainless steel globe states "CORE Wants a Fair World". Scarce. Exc.
