Item Description
2-1/8". No maker. Shown in NY Mets cap. He played for the team 1946-54 as well as the Cincinnati Reds in 1956. Scattered trace of oxidation on metal back. Slight indent to surface. Some scattered air spots under the cello and surface wear, all really only seen in reflected light. All remains glossy and image is sharp. Fine. A rare PM10.  Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.

Jansen played nine seasons in the big leagues as a pitcher, and was twice an All-Star, winning 122 games in all. He later coached in the Major Leagues and Minor Leagues. Jansen is a member of the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame and the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame.
