Item Description
3.5" w/union bug on curl at 12 o'clock. Produced by Frank Allen Specialties in New York City. Allen attempted to colorize this design, w/the result producing a peach/orange skin tone that is also seen on JFK's white shirt. Bold contrast w/ striking clarity. Smooth and glossy. NM as made. The "Big Four" JFK buttons are steeped in fascinating history combined with extreme rarity and feature the most iconic candidate of the last half of the 20th century. A choice example of one of the storied "Big Four" Kennedy buttons. While we've encountered a number of subtly different varieties of this design a scant few are colorized- making this an especially alluring example of this ultra rare JFK campaign badge.
