Item Description
6.75x8.5" first edition hardcover w/dustjacket. Published by Doubleday & Company, Inc. 1964. Signed on title page (which has embossed library/collection imprint) in blue ink by Stan Musial (1920-2013). Dustjacket has been clipped on bottom left inside corner and has some small tears, scattered discoloration. Pages have yellowed evenly. VG condition but signature displays Exc. Comes w/JSA COA.

Stanley Musial, nicknamed "Stan the Man," was an American baseball outfielder and first baseman. Widely considered to be one of the greatest and most consistent hitters in baseball history, Musial spent 22 seasons in MLB, playing for the St. Louis Cardinals, from 1941-1944 and 1946-1963, before becoming a first-ballot inductee into the National Baseball HOF in 1969. Some of his many career highlights include being a 24 time All-Star, a three time World Series Champion, a three time MVP and a seven time NL batting champion. He was named as part of the MLB All-Century Team.
