Below in large print is "Pay Deduction!" highlighting a law going into effect in 1937 that purportedly took 1% of a worker's wages to be turned over to the U.S. Government." Reverse has text at top reading "How Mr. Farley Builds His Political Machine." Below are stories of alleged retribution by the Roosevelt administration in which those opposed to him lost their positions at the WPA, while rich loyalists were given positions in the WPA.
