Item Description
3.5x5.5". 72pgs. Published in 1860 by Union Glee Club (Baltimore). Features the portraits of the 1860 Union Party candidates w/eagle above and text on banner reading "The Union, The Constituion & The Enforcement Of The Laws." The first 11 pages include biographies of the candidates, while the remaining pages feature various "Union" songs promoting Bell and Everett. Small area of surface loss just left of eagle, as well as moderate wear along spine, including tears and chipping. Retains vibrant color. Technically Fine, but displays above grade. A rare campaign artifact from the tough 1860 ticket.
