Item Description
3.25x5". Card features a hand-colored image of Van Buren frowning as he holds a cup with the initials of William Henry Harrison (WHH) on the side while in a cut-out panel below is the text "An Ugly Mug Of Log-Cabin Hard Cider." When the tab is pushed upward, Van Buren's frown changes to a smiling grin and he holds a much fancier cup bearing his initials and the slogan changes to "A Beautiful Goblet Of White-House Champagne." Moderate surface wear, most notably a faint stain along upper left edge. VF. A classic 1840 campaign artifact that is seldom offered.
