Item Description
Each is 26" long. Felt. Applied portraits of the President and First Lady Edith. A few tiny green print spots on Wilson's portrait, as well as vertical thin strip of surface loss at top of Edith's portrait. Each pennant has some fading to green background w/moderate wear. Each is VF. Woodrow Wilson married Edith Bolling Galt on December 18, 1915 at her residence in Washington, DC. The wedding took place just over a year after Wilson's first wife, Ellen died of kidney disease. Edith was known for the large role she played in the White House, particularly following Woodrow's stroke in 1919. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
