Item Description
28x41" w/"New York 258" union bug at bottom center. Cartoon depicting a Klan lynch mob w/"FDR" in the foreground, his arm around a hooded "Truman," saying "I Should Be Very Happy To Run With Harry Truman. He'll Bring Real Strength To The Ticket!" After Truman was selected as FDR's running mate his possible Klan membership in the 1920s was exposed for political gain. Several small tears along the edges, most notably a 1" tear along the top edge in the center. All of the edge wear can be easily framed out. Otherwise moderate handling. VF and will frame to Exc. A much above average example of this scarce and powerful poster.
