Item Description
1-7/16” brass frame w/twisted rope outer edge. Reverse has black metal back held in place by tiny tabs and with a horizontal bar pin. Under the clear cello front cover is photographic paper without dot pattern picturing both men and with caption below “Freeport Ill. August 27, 1858.” Almost certainly issued for some ceremony commemorating the event’s 50th anniversary in 1908. Small luster loss on left frame edge with all else Exc. Scarce.
