Item Description
Each is 1.25” both w/Keystone Badge, Reading, Pa back papers. Both were issued for L.T.L. conventions, the initials of the Loyal Temperance Legion which was the group established by the W.T.C.U.  to encourage temperance in children. Willard was President of the W.T.C.U. from 1879 till her death in 1898. This convention was in Lancaster, Pa in 1903. Second shows Anna Adams Gordon, Vice President of the W.T.C.U. and then president in 1914. This  was for a 1908 convention near Lancaster in Manheim, Pa. Ribbons are under the collet and have several partial splits but remain attached. Willard button is NM. Gordon has .75” vertical scratch but totally clean. Both are rare.
