Item Description
1.25". Hard plastic w/flat back. Suspended at center in the highly domed hard plastic is a floating head portrait of JFK against a white bordered background. Moderate wear in reflected light. Extremely Fine. According to legendary JFK collector Bonnie Gardner this badge was a sample intended to be used at the DNC for applying to pin backs, tie bars or even lighters. A truly unusual 1960 campaign item and only the second example we've encountered in our 58 years. John Hillhouse Collection.
