Item Description
3.5" w/cardboard back and horizontal bar pin. "Washington 28" union bug in field. Kennedy campaign staff had to wear this button to be admitted by Secret Service to the Hyannis Port compound on election day in 1960. A few scattered brown spots. A rainy election day caused the spotting that is present on all of the less than ten examples known to us. A top Kennedy rarity. Among the cleanest examples we've seen. Extremely Fine. John Hillhouse Collection.
