Item Description
2.5x3.75”. San Francisco 179 union bug at lower right. Horizontal pin on reverse. Designated to a “Stanley Thomas.”  Kennedy campaigned by train through California making whistle stops on Sep. 8 in Redding, Red Bluff, Chico, Marysville, Roseville, Sacramento, Davis, Fairfield, Martinez, Richmond and concluding in Oakland for a rally at Oakland Auditorium. Sep. 9 saw stops in Modesto, Turlock, Merced, Fresno, Tulare and Bakersfield where the campaign flew to Burbank airport proceeding to Valley Plats Shopping Center then the Ambassador Hotel before a rally at Shrine Auditorium in the evening.Tiny bump in center from pin, otherwise light wear on plastic covering.
