Item Description
6-1/8x5-7/8" patriotic cardstock sign features classic full body image of Superman standing w/hands-on-hips surrounded by "Be A Hero Every Week - Buy Defense Stamps Here Each Friday." Issued in 1943 by the War Department as part of the Schools At War wartime program. Center left has small spot of moisture staining, the edges of this are bigger on back but not all shows through onto front. Bottom margin shows faint moisture staining. Fine overall, but still very nice for display. Rare and just the second example we've offered in our 58 years. Danny Fuchs Collection.
