Item Description
2.25x4.5" and 4.5x7". McKinley signature on card w/"Executive Mansion, Washington" in upper right corner. Also includes the enclosed letter sent to recipient that was written and signed by George Cortelyou, the "Acting Secretary To The President." Cortelyou went on to serve as Secretary of Commerce and Secretary of the Treasury during the Roosevelt administration. He was also the Postmaster General. Letter is dated August 12, 1899. Tiny tear in bottom right corner of letter, otherwise only light wear. McKinley card is Exc. Letter is extremely Fine. McKinley card comes w/JSA LOA.
