In 1983 Hasbro/Aviva planned, but did not bring into production, a line of figures based on the 1982 Jim Henson movie The Dark Crystal. The line was to have included six basic figures and three larger beasts, w/each basic figure to come w/piece of the crystal which could be assembled by collecting all six figures. Offered here is 6.5x9.5" blister card each containing 2.75" tall hand-painted prototype action figure w/Fizzgig and Crystal Piece #1 accessory pieces. Figure and accessories are under blister that has been stapled to card, done as a mock-up sales sample prior to the line's cancellation. Prototype figure is very nicely hand-painted and detailed. Blister is slightly yellow. Qualified. AFA subgrades are as follows - C75 B70 F80. Comes w/AFA Qualified Scale COA verifying completeness.
