Item Description
Sears exclusive shrink-wrapped blank back card contains 3.75" tall Kenner action figure. Canadian issue. In 1980-1981, Sears stores throughout Canada offered multi-packs of carded figures, each including an early release of one of seven new Empire Strikes Back figures. These figures were released prior to the production of the individual cardback art and figure bubbles. The figures were released shrink-wrapped on blank back cards. Card has been punched. Archival case. Qualified. AFA subgrades are as follows - C70 B85 F85. Comes w/AFA Qualified Scale COA. Rare as still shrink-wrapped to card. At time of cataloging, only two examples in total have been graded by AFA according to current AFA Population Report, w/only one example in an AFA 75Q grade (just one higher).
