Item Description
Pair of china items made in England, early 1930s. Both feature Western themes. 2.75" tall handled cup features action scene of Mickey Mouse riding Horace Horsecollar w/1930 Mickey Mouse short "The Cactus Kid" title. Another image of Mickey holding pistol appears beside title. 5.25" dia. saucer shows wagon train led by Mickey and Minnie Mouse (Mickey playing accordion, Minnie playing banjo) w/"Mickey & His Minnie, Gay, Led The Waggon [sic] Train" caption. Scene is from the Mickey Mouse short "Pioneer Days." Both pieces bear small "Walter E. Disney" name, traditional Paragon accents and both undersides have Paragon company marks. Both remain totally bright, clean and glossy. Exc. All Paragon china is highly sought after and this piece is rare. Only the third examples of each we've offered in our 58 years.
