Window box contains Mattel gift set, consisting on two 5.5" tall action figures - Skeletor and Man-E-Faces - w/weapons as well as 9.5" long Panthor mount. This is the first release of this gift set, featuring the original version of Skeletor (the second release featured Battle Armor Skeletor). Box header features great art by William Garland depicting battle between the enclosed characters. This art features Skeletor in his regular armor and was used for both first and second releases. Header has not been folded over. Window is yellow. Archival case. AFA subgrades are as follows - B80 W60 F85. Widely regarded as one of the rarest and most coveted vintage Masters Of The Universe boxed pieces, this is the first time a first release version of this much sought after gift set has been offered at auction. At time of cataloging, only two examples in total have been graded by AFA according to current AFA Population Report, w/both examples in an AFA 60Y grade (none higher).
