Item Description
Original box w/illustrated lid label contains 7" tall toy. Celluloid figure depicting Mickey Mouse w/one-stringed instrument mounted to 2.5" dia. painted tin base. Made in Japan, 1930s. Box has two corner splits and lid has crease running along left edge as well as one corner split. Box is VG/Fine but still nice for display. Back of toy has two paper labels; one marked "Foreign" while other is inspection label w/tiny "Made In Japan" text. Comes w/original winder but no rubberband; head can be tipped manually. Toy shows just the slightest aging. Color remains strong. Exc. Scarce w/box. See matching boxed Betty Boop nodder in this auction. Thom Carchedi Collection.
