First is a 20x30" heavy illustration board with original art color cover illustration for the novel "Lord Of The Dead" by Robert E. Howard. It was first published in 1981<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981_in_literature> by Donald M. Grant, Publisher, Inc.<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_M._Grant,_Publisher,_Inc.> in an edition of 1,250 copies. The stories are pastiches of Sax Rohmer.  Painted in acrylics by self-trained painter and former graffiti artist Duncan Eagleson (whose career has included designing book covers as well as creating movie posters and comic book art - as well as provided art for the first movie poster design for A Nightmare On Elm Street). Cover features Fu Manchu styled character (Erlik Khan) in center flanked by two other story characters, Steve Harrison and Joan La Tour). Small nick at bottom of board. Lt. aging/wear. Displays Exc. Next are a pair of 14x20" Crescent Hot Press Boards. First is title page that is hand lettered and illustrated with asian border, snake and skull image and an additional board with six images of small filler illustrations used throughout book all in bw acrylics.
