Item Description
Pair of nice quality metal rings that do not carry the "Dick Tracy" name but were offered as a DT premium in Quakers ads. Issued in two varieties w/adjustable bands that have designs on the sides and came in either brass or silver luster. The standard premium version in this lot has sliver luster. Initials are "JB." Moderate luster wear w/some minor bends on bands. Fine. The highlight of this lot is the prototype. Rather than adjustable bands, this is one-piece non-adjustable. This was only used on this prototype and it originates from the Robbins Co. warehouse (famous for their premium rings). Only example known. Initials are "FD." Band is slightly out of round and ring has trace of luster wear but most remains. VF. A true ring rarity. Robert M. Overstreet Ring Collection.
