Item Description
14x22" on cardboard. Promoting "The Jimmy Dean Show" at the Wharton Fieldhouse on Friday evening, November 17. Billed second is Patsy Cline, who's recent release "Crazy" had just entered the country charts the week of this show. Earlier in the spring "I Fall To Pieces" had scored a #1 smash on the Billboard Country charts. Both compositions became career defining country standards for the legendary vocalist. Jimmy Dean's hit "Big Bad John" received the cartoon treatment adding a rare graphic element to this early 1960s country poster. Hevey moisture throughout, top left corner loss and scattered small surface paper losses most notably at top left. Good. One of only two examples known. Concert material for Cline outside of a few relatively plain hoard found designs is scant making this an especially alluring country & western rarity.
