Musicians United for Safe Energy, or MUSE, is an activist group founded in 1979 by Jackson Browne, Graham Nash, Bonnie Raitt, and John Hall. The group advocates against the use of nuclear energy, forming shortly after the Three Mile Island nuclear accident that March. MUSE organized this series of five concerts at Madison Square Garden in Sept. On September 23, 1979, almost 200,000 people attended a large rally staged by MUSE on the then-empty north end of the Battery Park City landfill in New York. Additional performers include; Ry Cooder, The Doobie Brothers, John Hall (of Hall & Oats), Chaka Khan, Graham Nash, Poco, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Bonnie Raitt, Raydio, Gil Scott-Heron, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Sweet Honey, In The Rocks, James Taylor, Peter Tosh, Jesse Colin Young, "And Special Friends". Single pin hole at extreme edge of each corner, tiny bend at bottom left and slight horizontal bend at middle right. Technically VF but will frame to Exc.
