6.5x9." Dated February 25, 1936. Addressed to a "Miss Russell." In the letter Sara reported that she had just had a visit "from my son, the President," and he had since returned to Washingon, DC. Sara Roosevelt was the second wife of James Roosevelt, and the mother of FDR. She was born in 1854 and died in 1941. Only light wear. Exc. Comes w/ JSA COA.
