Item Description
5-5/8" tall w/wrap-around design featuring DC mascot character Johnny DC w/various artist tools as well as pages from typewriter showing images of Superman, Batman, Mutt from Mutt & Jeff, Wonder Woman, Tomahawk, Crow from The Fox And The Crow and Judy from A Date With Judy. Produced by Tiffany c. 1958, the last year DC published Mutt & Jeff. Glasses were issued as gifts from DC Comics to their largest distributors. Also produced in 4.5" and 6.75" tall sizes and a version was produced that featured The Flash instead of Mutt (see following lot). Tiny rim nick but glass retains full .22 karat fine gold luster.
