Item Description
Jan. 3, 1977 issue of Time magazine features "Man Of The Year" watercolor painting of President Jimmy Carter (1924-2024) by Jamie Wyeth. Patriotic "Plains" watertower from Carter's hometown can be seen in bkg. of painting. Carter has signed front cover in black ink, signing above his image. Signed in-person in April 2009 in Plains, GA at the annual Carter Foundation meeting. Issue devotes 16 pages to their 1976 Man of the Year - Jimmy Carter. Magazine shows some handling wear w/pinch creases to spine and corner tip wear. Fine/VF overall, but signature displays Exc. Comes w/JSA COA. Duke Caldwell Collection.
