Item Description
7x13.5" die-cut display card contains child's satin-like fabric tie. c. 1948 © DC. Card features 8.5" tall perforated figure of Superman w/easel designed to be punched out and used as a stand-up figure. Text on card includes "Wear A 'Superman' Tie And Be A Reg'lar Feller!" Card has some edge/corner tip wear w/a small corner crease and a few small chips. Card has scattered fading to yellow and red. Card o/w card display nicely and VG/Fine overall. Navy blue tie features silk-screened image of Superman flying. Tie has also faded as well on front of card to a pale violet. Tie o/w displays Fine. Ties came in different colors and w/different images of Superman. Scarce on card. Danny Fuchs Collection.
