Item Description
The 1965 Topps baseball set consists of 598 standard-size cards w/fronts featuring color player photographs.
Robert Gibson was an American professional baseball pitcher who played 17 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals (1959-1975). Gibson tallied 251 wins, 3,117 strikeouts, and a 2.91 earned run average (ERA) during his career. A nine-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion, he won two Cy Young Awards and the 1968 National League (NL) MVP Award. Bob Gibson was elected into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1981. The autograph on the card is bold w/excellent placement that doesn't impede the image on the card. A review of the PSA /DNA pop report indicates that this signed copy is one of only two examples at this level with only two others ever graded higher.
