Item Description
1.75" w/back paper, very tanned but readable,  from L.A. Badge and Mfg. Co. This event was officially titled "Los Angeles International Air Meet", one of the very first air shows in America with an 11-day run and attendance of 254,000 people. The L.A. Times called it "One Of The Greatest Public Events In The History Of The West." The striking graphic button features an orange sky over mountain tops w/cloud accents and realistic designs of a bi-plane, a hot air balloon and a rather fanciful balloon powered device w/a rocket-ship shaped suspended frame. One small dent on collet. Cello has four small .25 craze lines plus a 1” center scratch or craze (hard to tell which), but seen just in reflected light. Cello remains extremely clean and with full gloss. Scarce.
