Item Description
1.75” w/W&H back paper which has a 1” tear at bottom.  Front portrays the Greek goddess Demeter (or perhaps her Roman equivalent Ceres) who oversaw the fortunes of agriculture, the harvest, and grain w/wheat being a staple food of the ancient world. Around the flour sack she adorns are a wreath of green wheat stalks and a golden crescent moon. Tiny speck center right was dirt dot now gone. Exc. Our first offered. Rare.
