Item Description
9x14" framed. Signature on Supreme Court card and is dated March 27, 1937. Only light wear on photograph and card. Exc. Butler served on the Supreme Court from 1923 until his death in 1939. He was a conservative justice and was one of the "Four Horsemen", the conservative block of judges on the Court that opposed many of FDR's New Deal laws. Comes w/JSA COA.
