Item Description
1.75” tall and very slightly convex. Reverse had bar pin anchored at left with catch at right, but only a bent over catch remains. Three tiny 1/16” holes were added at top corners and 6 o’clock to mount long ago for display. Full figure Uncle Sam holds flag  on the right while on the left he holds the ear and/or hands of much smaller man who appears to be the 39th President of Mexico Victoriano Huerta who seized power in February 1913 and was in office during the US incursion into the port of Vera Cruz April 21-Nov. 23, 1914. Center of tin has mild, shallow dent. First seen. Fine. Rare.
