Item Description
2-1/8x3-1/8". The 1946-47 Propagandas Montiel series consists of 180 cards depicting athletes, including baseball players and boxers. Card fronts feature bw photos while backs have bios along w/advertising for Cuban stores. An album was issued in conjunction w/this card set, thus accounting for many examples found in lesser condition due to paper loss from album removal.

William Malcolm Dickey  was an American professional baseball catcher and manager. He played in Major League Baseball with the New York Yankees for 17 seasons. Dickey managed the Yankees as a player-manager in 1946 in his last season as a player. Some career highlights include being an 11 time All-Star and seven time World Series Champion. Bill Dickey was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1954.
