Item Description
1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow up to the 1924-25 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects.
Jose "Joseito" Rodriguez was a Cuban infielder who played in Major League Baseball from 1916 to 1918 for the New York Giants and in the Cuban League from 1914 to 1939. He was inducted into the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951.
