Item Description
1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow up to the 1924-25 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects.
Jimenez played in the Cuban League from 1914-29, while spending his summers playing in the U.S. Negro Leagues for the Cuban Stars West (1914-21, 1928-29) and Cuban Stars East (1922-24).
