Item Description
3.25x5-3/8". The 1960 Nu-Card Baseball Hi-Lites set was a unique baseball set with the format appearing as a newspaper headline, photo and story of some of Major League Baseball's great moments in history. These oversized cards are printed in black-and-white with the headlines written in bold red. At the top of each card is the card number, "Baseball Hi-Lites" title (printed in black and red) and the "Extra" caption as well as the date of when this particular event occurred in baseball lore. The centered photos are in black-and-white and a synopsis of the original story is printed below. The backs feature a baseball quiz. Card #1-18 that are printed only in black on the fronts are considered more valuable and are designated as 1960 CVC Baseball Hi-Lites.
