Item Description
Issued over a two year period from 1929-30, the R315 series consists of 46 cards measuring 3.25x5.25" w/fronts printed in bw and featuring either a portrait shot or in-action pose. Back of cards are blank.

George William Pipgras (1899 – 1986) was an American right-handed starting pitcher and umpire in Major League Baseball. Career highlights include being a one-time AL wins leader and four time World Series champion. Autograph is distinct and well written across the middle of the card. A review of the PSA/DNA pop report indicates that this signed copy is the only example graded by PSA at this level with only one other graded higher.
