Item Description
Between 1910 and 1912, the American Tobacco Company branched out from the production of trading cards and created the Sweet Caporal Pins (P2) series. The set consists of 152 sepia-toned pins that measure 7/8” in diameter. However, there are numerous “large” letter and “small” letter variations, displaying the identical image on each, that increase the number of pins in the full set to be 204.

Tristram Edgar Speaker  nicknamed "the Gray Eagle", was an American professional baseball player. Considered one of the greatest players in the history of Major League Baseball (MLB), he compiled a career batting average of .345 (sixth all-time). His 792 career doubles represent an MLB career record. His 3,514 hits are fifth on the all-time hits list. Defensively, Speaker holds career records for assists, double plays, and unassisted double plays by an outfielder. His fielding glove was known as the place "where triples go to die." Tris Speaker was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1937. a
